This 6" Clay Anvil is used in clay hand building to make slab bowls. Best used on a foam surface. The solid Cherry wood base is 6" diameter and 1 1/4" thick. The solid Poplar handle is 3 1/4" long and 1 1/8" in diameter. The handle has a rounded end that nests comfortably in your hand. Finished with linseed oil and beeswax to protect the wood from moisture.
